Dustin Plett

Dustin Plett has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dustin is currently serving as the Chief Sales Officer at Balance since 2021. Dustin was also a Co-Founder of Panelope, where they held the positions of Co-Founder and CEO from May 2020 to December 2020, and later as a Co-Founder from January 2021 onwards.

Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Strategy Officer at Consensus AI from July 2018 to April 2020. In 500px, they held multiple roles including Interim CEO from February 2018 to June 2018, Investor from July 2013 to March 2018, and Vice President, Business Development and Sales from July 2012 to January 2018. Dustin also served as the Vice President, Business Development from August 2012 to July 2015.

Dustin also worked at Balance as an Advisor from June 2017 to June 2018. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Director, Business Development and Manager, Business Development at ICUC Moderation Services Inc from January 2011 to July 2012 and July 2009 to December 2010 respectively. Dustin also worked as a Communications Specialist at Dooley Communications from January 2009 to August 2009.

Dustin has entrepreneurial experience as well, having owned and operated 1170476 Alberta Ltd. from April 2005 to December 2006. Overall, they have shown a strong track record of leadership and expertise in sales, strategy, business development, and entrepreneurship throughout their career.

Dustin Plett pursued their education at Red River College Polytechnic from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Creative Communications Diploma. During this time, they focused on studying advertising, public relations, and marketing. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2004, Dustin attended Assiniboine Community College, where they pursued a degree in industrial welding and obtained a Red Seal certification.
