George Bordianu

George Bordianu has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. George co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Balance, Canada's largest digital asset custodian. As a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of YourExtraLife, they built a successful mobile social network. George also held the role of Director of Engineering at 500px, where they played a key role in developing the company's stock photo licensing platform. George has also worked at Silentale, where they performed various roles including Intern, Software Developer, Software Architect, and Director of Platform. Additionally, George worked as a Technology Advisor at Felix Health, providing guidance for the development of their cost-effective MVP. George also worked at Techstars as part of the Techstars Toronto 2019 program. George's academic experience includes working as a Research & Teaching Assistant at McGill University, contributing to projects on unsupervised learning and social networks. George Bordianu pursued their undergraduate studies in Computer Science from 2007 to 2010 at Universitatea "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" din Iași. George then went on to complete their MSc. in Computer Science from McGill University from 2010 to 2012.
