Buiness Development Manager Asia and Africa at BOS Balance of Storage Systems AG

Veeresh Anehosur started their work experience in 2012 as an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. In 2014, they interned in Energy Management at Robert Bosch GmbH. From 2015 to the present, they have held the role of Business Development Manager Asia and Africa at BOS Balance of Storage Systems AG. In this role, they have been responsible for identifying and developing solar with energy storage based applications in multiple markets and regions, building business plans and market entry strategies for new markets, and conceptualizing commercially viable energy solutions for various applications. Veeresh has also been involved in modelling renewable energy applications, finalizing technical details for new project sites or integration of renewables into existing power generation sites, executing business plans, managing tender processes, and generating marketing strategies and materials. In 2020, they joined Nunam as a Business Development Lead, where they are responsible for business development activities and raising grants for the company's battery intelligence tools and services. In 2022, they started a research fellowship at the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, focusing on the sustainability of electric vehicle batteries in India and their impact on pollution.

Veeresh Anehosur completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Power Engineering at Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum, between the years 2008 and 2012. In addition to their formal education, Veeresh Anehosur also obtained a certification in "Applying Green Energy Finance" from Renewables Academy (RENAC) in June 2022.
