Jasbir Malhi

Jasbir Malhi is an experienced professional in the finance industry, currently serving as the Head of Quantitative Research at Balance Re since 2014. Prior to this, Jasbir held the position of London Head of Structured IR Derivatives at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from 2008 to 2013. With extensive experience in structured IR derivatives trading, Jasbir previously worked as the European Head of Structured IR Derivatives Trading at Bear Stearns & Company from 2001 to 2008 and as a Senior Trader at Banque Paribas from 1993 to 2001.

Educated at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, Jasbir holds degrees in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, and has also conducted research in Robot Path Planning for NASA Space Station Project.
