Yohay Pasternak

Yohay Pasternak has extensive work experience in risk analysis, fraud prevention, and team leadership. Starting in 2014, Yohay worked at Payoneer as a Credit Risk Analyst, where they assisted with determining underwriting and eligibility criteria for Working Capital products. Yohay also built reports and dashboards to assess product risk and worked with various teams to implement risk models and measures. In 2017, Yohay transitioned to become the leader of two teams at Payoneer, focusing on card fraud detection and chargebacks. During this time, they collaborated with R&D, Product, and Business Operations teams to improve performance and implement fraud prevention measures, including machine learning models. From 2016 to 2017, Yohay served as a Chargebacks Team Leader, streamlining workflows and overseeing the creation of an automated chargebacks filing tool. Prior to their role at Payoneer, Yohay worked at Israel Defense Forces, where they held a classified position in the Arabic language and later became a Team Leader, supervising a team of seven soldiers. In 2022, Yohay joined Balance as a Fraud Lead.

Yohay Pasternak obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bar-Ilan University from the years 2007 to 2010. Later on, they pursued their Master's degree in Social Psychology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which they completed from 2012 to 2014.
