Kenneth Thompson is an accomplished attorney and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the legal field and business management. As the owner of Balanced Family Academy in Dublin since April 2019, Kenneth focuses on the well-being of families through quality childcare, nutritious meals, and fitness classes. Concurrently, Kenneth has been practicing as a litigation attorney in Sarasota, Florida, since October 2017, licensed in both Florida and Ohio. Prior legal positions include stints at the Law Offices of Robert S. Gitmeid & Associates, PLLC, FCCI Insurance Group, and Eraclides, Gelman, Hall, Indek, Goodman & Waters, LLC. Kenneth's early career included a role as a Client Associate at Merrill Lynch and administrative work as a legal extern and clerk at Emerson Network Power. Kenneth holds a Doctor of Law (JD) in Labor and Employment from Capital University Law School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science and Government from Miami University.

Balanced Family Academy is a new concept in childcare. At the heart of our vision, is a commitment to providing the highest quality care that supports the development of the whole child – cognitive, emotional, and physical. That means in addition to a high-quality curriculum, children get wholesome food and plenty of age-appropriate physical activity. We also believe that a healthy, balanced family is an important component in a child’s development. We make it easier for families to maintain healthy habits by offering fitness classes for adults at drop-off and pick-up times and fresh, take-away prepared meals for families on the go.
