Matthew Mooney is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Development at Balanced Rock Power since November 2021, Matthew previously held leadership roles, including Vice President of Development and Director of Business Development at ENGIE North America Inc., where focus was on M&A and the development of utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects. Earlier positions included Solar Development Manager at RWE, Manager of Business Development at Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., and Director of Business Development at Gallop Power, LLC. Matthew initiated a career as a Project Developer at Siemens Gamesa and GreenHunter Energy, Inc. Matthew holds a BA in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
