Joseph Hebreo

Joseph Hebreo currently serves as the Chair of Medicine at Palomar Health, a position held since January 2024. Following a longstanding career as a nephrologist, Joseph has been with Balboa Nephrology Medical Group since July 2016 and previously worked at Palomar Medical Group from September 2013 to June 2016. Joseph's medical career includes significant experience as a Staff Nephrologist in the U.S. Navy at facilities such as Naval Medical Center, San Diego, and National Naval Medical Center, as well as completing a Nephrology Fellowship with the National Capitol Consortium. Joseph began medical training with a General Medicine Internship and an Internal Medicine Residency at Naval Medical Center, San Diego. Education credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UCLA.
