Steven Burns

Steven Burns is an accomplished attorney specializing in environmental and natural resource law, currently serving as a Partner at Balch & Bingham LLP since 2003. Burns also holds the position of Counsel and Secretary at the National Waterways Conference and has been actively involved as a Board member and three-time past chair of the Alabama Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association. Prior experience includes an Associate role at Van Ness Feldman, P.C. and serving on the U.S. Senate Governmental Affairs Committee and the U.S. Senate Budget Committee. Burns obtained a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Rhodes College.
