Matt Adams currently serves as Deputy Superintendent for the Baldwin County School District since June 2020. Prior experience includes holding the position of Assistant Superintendent for Operations, Facilities and Business Services at the Franklin County School District from July 2016 to June 2020. Matt has extensive experience in school leadership, having been the High School Principal and CEO of the College and Career Academy at Lamar County High School (July 2014 - June 2016), as well as serving as High School Principal and Middle School Principal in Bibb County. Additionally, Matt served as Primary School Principal in Pike County and held the role of High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Pike County High School. Educational qualifications include an Educational Specialist degree and a Master of Education from Columbus State University, alongside earlier studies in Teacher Certification at Mercer University and a Bachelor's degree in Religion/Theological Studies from Emmanuel College.
