Matt Wardlaw

Matt Wardlaw, CPA has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Matt began their career in 2003 at C.W. Matthews Contracting Co., Inc., where they held various roles such as Cost Accountant, Lead Project Engineer, Assistant Controller, and General Superintendent / Project Manager - Asphalt Construction. In these positions, they managed multiple projects, ensuring safety and profitability. Some notable projects include resurfacing local roads in Cobb County, a major roads paving project in Paulding County, and SR 9 construction in Forsyth County.

In 2020, Wardlaw joined Baldwin Paving Co., Inc. as the Controller, responsible for financial management. In 2022, they were promoted to Chief Financial Officer and eventually became the Chief Executive Officer. Wardlaw continues to apply their expertise in financial management and leadership in their current role.

Matt Wardlaw, CPA completed their education at Kennesaw State University. Matt obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting in the years 2001 to 2005. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In September 2010, Matt obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the Georgia Secretary of State.
