Alex Gonzalez

Alex Gonzalez has a long and varied work experience. Alex began their career in 2000 as a Software Engineer at VegaStream Ltd, where they worked developing features and communication protocols. In 2004, they moved to Packet Vision Ltd as a Lead Engineer, where they designed the software architecture for a targeted advertisement IPTV splicer. In 2009, they became a Freelance Software Consultant at Lindus Embedded. In 2010, they joined Digi International as a Software Supervisor and Product Owner, and later as a Principal Software Engineer and Lead SW Engineer, Digi Embedded Linux and Android. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at balena.

Alex Gonzalez obtained their MSc in Communication Systems from the University of Portsmouth between 1999 and 2002. Prior to that, they earned an Ingeniero Técnico Industrial in Electrónica Industrial from the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea between 1994 and 1999.
