Alida Odendaal

Alida Odendaal has worked as a Team Data Engineer at Balena since 2019. Prior to this, they were a Physics Lecturer at the University of the Free State from 2011.

Alida Odendaal has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Astrophysics from the University of the Free State, which they obtained between 2006 and 2014. Alida also has several certifications from Coursera and Lynda.com, including Applied Plotting, Charting & Data Representation in Python (obtained in 2019), Applied Machine Learning in Python (obtained in 2018), Introduction to Data Science in Python (obtained in 2018), Programming Foundations: Real-World Examples (obtained in 2018), and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox (obtained in 2017).
