Matthew Heard

Matthew Heard is an experienced professional in construction estimating and project management, currently serving as the Interiors Lead Estimator for Balfour Beatty US since August 2023. Previously, Matthew held positions including Senior Estimator at MW Builders and Lead Estimator at Balfour Beatty US, demonstrating a strong progression in estimating roles since beginning as an Estimator at JE Dunn Construction in 2007. With a comprehensive background that includes responsibilities for quantity take-offs, bid solicitation, cost estimation, and project scheduling across various companies, Matthew also possesses managerial experience from a previous role as Customer Relations Manager at Del Webb. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Louisiana State University and holds a high school diploma from Baton Rouge High School.
