Ben Medlock

Ben Medlock is the Planning Consent Assistant at Balfour Beatty. Ben has worked for the company since 2007, first as a Purchasing and Material Controller, and then in their current role. In their previous position, they were responsible for identifying, assessing, and developing suppliers and subcontractors to support company business needs and objectives. Ben also compiled data packs for competitive sub-contracts, negotiated terms and conditions with suppliers, and liaised with them during the contract to ensure that performance standards were met. In their current role, they are responsible for assisting with the planning and consenting process for construction projects. This includes preparing paperwork and submitting applications to local authorities.

Ben Medlock reports to Jean-Dominique Lucas, Construction Director. They work with Celeste Odunukwe - Assistant Consents Engineer, Delia Labat - Senior Geotechnical Coordinator, and Doug Cross - Traffic Manager.
