David Smith

David Smith is an experienced professional in tax and corporate finance, currently serving as the Chair of BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT PENSION TRUSTEES LIMITED since September 2020, while concurrently holding the position of Group Head of Tax and Corporate Finance at Balfour Beatty Plc since January 2013. David's prior roles include Group Head of Tax at International Power and Head of Direct Tax at Reuters Group plc. David began a career as a Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen. David holds an MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Maths from The University of Manchester.
