Francisco Almeida Rocha

Francisco Almeida Rocha is an experienced civil engineer with a strong background in project management and construction leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Spie Batignolles since July 2021 and holding the role of Sub Agent/Structures Package Manager at Balfour Beatty plc on the A14 Project since February 2018, Francisco has previously worked in similar capacities at Carillion on the A14 Project and the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. With extensive experience in managing significant infrastructure projects, including dams and highways, Francisco has demonstrated expertise in planning, production supervision, cost control, and quality management throughout diverse projects. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering and a Post-Graduation in Management and Business from Nova School of Business and Economics, complemented by an Engineer's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
