Joanna Gilroy (MBA) is an accomplished sustainability professional with extensive experience in leading sustainability initiatives across various industries. Currently serving as the Group Sustainability Director at Balfour Beatty plc since April 2022, Joanna previously held the position of Group Head of Sustainability & Environment at Kier Group, where a transformative environmental sustainability strategy was developed. Joanna's career also includes roles at Bunzl plc as Head of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Manager, focusing on sustainable solutions in the Catering & Hospitality Division. Joanna began the journey in sustainability as the Strategic Customer Sustainability Manager at Bunzl Catering Supplies, following a notable MBA from the University of Exeter, where Joanna won the Global Sustainability Challenge.
