Marcel Arsand

Marcel Arsand serves as the Director of Sustainability and Public Affairs for Ball Beverage Packaging in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions, leading the company's EMEA strategy focused on achieving real circularity in packaging. Since joining Ball Corporation in April 2018, Marcel has held various sustainability roles, including Head of Sustainability and Sustainability Manager for the UK and Nordics. Additionally, Marcel is a Non-Executive Director at Alupro and served as Chair of The Can Makers, advocating for the aluminium packaging industry's recycling goals. Previous experience includes project management roles at DS Smith, WRAP, and RECOUP, where Marcel contributed to sustainable waste management and resource efficiency initiatives. Marcel holds multiple degrees from Cranfield University and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, emphasizing expertise in waste management and biological sciences.
