Cheri Madewell

Cheri Madewell serves as the Director of Instructional Consultation at Ball State University, leading a team of instructional consultants in the university's online and strategic learning division since January 2013. Madewell has extensive experience in gender studies, having taught various courses, including Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies, and served as a Principal Investigator for significant projects aimed at developing gender studies programs, including collaborations with the American University of Iraq and U.S. Embassy grants. Additionally, Madewell holds a role as an English Language Specialist with the U.S. State Department and has been a prominent speaker on inclusion and diversity topics across various platforms. Educational qualifications include an EdD in Higher Education Administration and a Master's in Sociology, complemented by a Bachelor's in Journalism.
