Emily Wornell, PhD, serves as the Associate Director of Research at Ball State University's Center for Business and Economic Research since July 2016, focusing on immigration, poverty, community development, and sustainable rural initiatives. Additionally, since January 2020, Emily holds the position of Assistant Professor of Research and Director of the RUPRI Center for State and Local Policy, where the emphasis is on rural community policy and governance.
