Katharine Herbert

Katharine Herbert is an experienced professional in higher education and veterans' affairs, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Veterans Affairs at Ball State University's Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships since August 2008. In previous roles, Katharine has worked as an Upper Division Academic Advisor, Transfer Specialist, and Academic Advisor, providing guidance and resources to students across multiple disciplines. Additionally, Katharine is a Founding Board Member of Dog Tags & Go Bags, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting military veterans in need. With a strong academic background, including a Doctor of Education in Adult and Community Education and multiple master's degrees, all obtained from Ball State University, Katharine has also contributed as an Adjunct Instructor at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana.
