Stephen Hessel

Stephen Hessel is an academic with extensive experience in the field of Spanish language and literature. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Spanish at Ball State University since August 2013, Stephen previously held the position of Assistant Professor of Spanish at the same institution. Prior engagements include roles as an Assistant Teaching Professor of Spanish at the University of Missouri from August 2009 to May 2013, and as a Teaching Assistant in Spanish at the University at Buffalo from August 2005 to July 2009. Stephen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Spanish Language and Literature from the University at Buffalo, where studies also included a BA and MA in Spanish and English.
