Taylor D. Metz

Taylor D. Metz, PLA, ASLA, serves as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Teaching Professor of Landscape Architecture at Ball State University since August 2018. Prior to this role, Taylor D. Metz worked as a Landscape Architect at Aspen Outdoor Designs Inc. since May 2014 and held a Graduate Assistant position at Ball State University from August 2013 to May 2016, focusing on Manufacturer Sustainability Claims Research. Additional experience includes roles as a Teacher/PBIS Coordinator at Edgar P. Harney Spirit of Excellence Academy from January 2009 to May 2013, a Fellow at teachNOLA in late 2008, a Landscape Designer at J&M Landscaping, and a Project Manager at Great Goats Landscaping. Taylor D. Metz holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Ball State University and a Level 1 Teaching Certificate from The New Teacher Project, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College.
