Kim Everitt has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and retail industries. In 2012, they gained work experience at MIRA, where they shadowed engineers and assisted with vehicle testing and data collection. In 2013, they worked as a Customer Consultant at Carphone Warehouse, focusing on sales, customer service, and meeting targets. From 2011 to 2013, Kim worked as a Retail Operative at Primark, contributing to the daily operations of the store. In 2015, they had a summer placement at HORIBA MIRA, gaining technical knowledge in the Braking department and improving their manufacturing skills. They also worked as a Sales Assistant at Shell, where they learned about various engine types and fuels while enhancing their customer service skills. Kim then joined Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions in 2016 as a Student Support Engineer, involved in vehicle testing and calibration. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Placement Ambassador for Engineering and Technology at the University of Hertfordshire. Kim then joined Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd in 2018, first as an EMS Integration Engineer and later as a Senior Powertrain Calibration Engineer. In these roles, they focused on engine management systems and fuel calibration, as well as conducting feasibility studies. Currently, Kim is a Test & Development Engineer at Ballard Motive Solutions, where they collaborate globally to develop sustainable solutions for the hydrogen industry by testing software and interpreting data.
Kim Everitt attended the University of Hertfordshire from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Automotive Engineering with Motorsport. In addition to their formal education, Kim has obtained several certifications.
