Konstantinos Kanavas

Konstantinos Kanavas has a diverse work experience in several engineering roles. From 2020 to the present, they have been working at Ballard Motive Solutions as the Head of Compliance and Integration, where they ensure automotive system design compliance and manages certification processes. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Powertrain Controls Integration Lead Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover through ALTEN LTD - UK.

From 2011 to 2019, Konstantinos worked at Mercedes-Benz Hellas as the Retail Technical Support and TRP Manager, overseeing various activities related to theft-relevant parts, dealer network training, and parts quality issues.

In the early years of their career, from 2006 to 2011, they served as a Homologation and Sales Engineer at ERGOTRAK - SFAKIANAKIS GROUP, responsible for vehicle homologation, sales engineering, and providing bodybuilder advice. Konstantinos also briefly worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Eurometal S.A. in 2006.

Konstantinos started their career at Bombardier Transportation, where they worked as a Structures and Mechanical Engineer from 2002 to 2005, and later had another short stint as a Structures and Mechanical Engineer in 2002.

Konstantinos Kanavas has an extensive education history and has pursued various courses and trainings throughout their career. Their educational background includes an MSc in Rail Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield, which they completed from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a BEng (Hons) in Automotive Engineering Design from Coventry University from 1999 to 2002.
