Barbara Bunting

Barbara Bunting serves as the Global Director of Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development at Ballard Power Systems since August 2021, overseeing the strategic direction of both portfolios on a global scale. Prior to this role, Barbara led the Talent Acquisition function for MDA across Canada from 2016 to August 2021, contributing to the organization’s talent strategy. Earlier experience includes a managerial position in talent acquisition at Starbucks from 2014 to 2016, and as Manager of Talent Acquisition Strategies at PCL Constructors Inc. from 2012 to 2014, where Barbara implemented talent acquisition strategies in collaboration with HR departments. Additionally, Barbara held the role of Senior Recruiter at Ledcor Industries Inc. from 2008 to 2012, contributing to the company's diversified operations in North America. Education was completed at the University of Alberta.
