Parvez Grewal

Parvez Grewal has work experience in various engineering roles. In 2014, they worked as an Engineering Trainee at G.S. Auto International. In 2016, they served as an Assistant Engineer at M.B. Exports. In 2017, they held the position of Capstone Project Lead at L.B. Foster Company. In the same year, they also began working at Ballard Power Systems as a Manufacturing Engineer and later advanced to the role of Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Team Lead, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at Ballard Power Systems.

Parvez Grewal obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Mechatronics from Simon Fraser University, with a distinction, from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, from 2012 to 2016, where they received a gold medal for their academic performance. Parvez Grewal's high school education was completed at Guru Nanak Public School, where they earned a High School Diploma with a focus on Chemistry, Physics, and Maths from 2005 to 2012.

Parvez Grewal also has several additional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance, and Six Sigma: Green Belt from LinkedIn, all obtained in 2021. Parvez obtained certifications in areas such as scrum mastery, problem-solving, occupational first aid, and safety training in previous years. In 2017, they obtained the Engineer in Training (EIT) designation from Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
