Pascal Fiesel

Pascal Fiesel has a diverse and extensive work experience in mechanical design and engineering. Pascal currently holds the position of Team Lead Mechanical Design Services at Ballard Power Systems since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as Acting Team Lead Mechanical Design Services from October 2021 to April 2022. From October 2020 to October 2021, they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at the same company.

Before joining Ballard Power Systems, Pascal worked at BMT as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer from November 2018 to October 2020.

Pascal also gained valuable experience at Tecan, where they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer for nearly seven years. At Tecan, they were responsible for the development, testing, and production of automated liquid-handling instruments. Pascal later took on the role of Lead Product Support Engineer in life cycle management for high-tech OEM liquid handling automation instruments.

In addition to their engineering roles, Pascal has also worked as a Promotions Specialist at SAG Sales Activity Group GmbH from September 2009 to June 2011, a Mechnical Detailer at Novita Engineering GmbH from October 2010 to April 2011, and a Freelance Photographer at Club Indochine AG from October 2006 to November 2007. Pascal previously worked at Novita Engineering GmbH as a Mechanical Detailer from July 2001 to December 2002.

Pascal Fiesel began their education journey in 2005 at ETH Zürich, where they pursued studies in Fluid and Thermodynamics. Pascal completed their studies in 2008. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, Pascal attended the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energie Technology and Plastics.
