Prasanthan Karunanithy

Prashan Karunanithy currently serves as Team Lead in Financial Planning and Analysis at Ballard Power Systems since November 2023, after previously working as a Senior Financial Analyst in the same company. Prior to this role, Prashan held positions at Loop Energy Inc. from September 2020 to November 2023, including Financial Analyst in FP&A and Intermediate Accountant. Prashan's career began at The Lines Company Ltd from June 2015 to February 2020, where roles included Management Accountant and Commercial/Project Analyst. Earlier experience includes serving as a Management Accountant at Evans Engineering Co Ltd from March 2010 to June 2015. Prashan holds multiple professional qualifications, including ACMA and CGMA from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, ACA in Accounting and Finance from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Diploma in Professional Accountancy from Unitec, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Colombo.
