Sumit Kundu

Sumit Kundu is an experienced engineering manager currently serving as the Manager of Test Engineering at Ballard Power Systems since June 2019. Previously, Kundu held roles as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Canada and various managerial positions at AFCC Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation Corp. (AFCC) over a span of nearly a decade. Kundu's career highlights include leading cross-functional teams, managing substantial project budgets, and developing key component technologies for fuel cell vehicles, particularly for Daimler. Kundu also contributed to academia as a sessional lecturer at the University of Waterloo. Kundu holds a PhD, Master's Degree, and Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
