Brian Doerner

Brian Doerner has been a Partner in the Business & Finance Department at Ballard Spahr LLP since October 1988, currently serving as Co-Chair of the Life Sciences & Technology Practice Group. Previously, from 2005 to 2011, Brian held the position of Chair of the Business & Finance Department and has also served as Co-Chair of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group. In addition to legal practice, Brian is an active board member for various organizations, including the Association for Corporate Growth - Philadelphia, People's Light & Theatre Company, and Life Sciences PA. Furthermore, Brian held leadership roles in the Entrepreneur's Forum of Greater Philadelphia from 1996 to January 2016. Brian holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, an MBA in Management from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Delaware.
