Robert Tunheim

Robert Tunheim is a seasoned professional in the legal and banking sectors, currently serving as Partner and Co-Chair of the Private Equity Practice Group at Ballard Spahr LLP since January 2018. In addition, Robert holds the position of Partner and Corporate Department Chair at Lindquist & Vennum, where leadership is provided for the Corporate Department and the firm's Private Equity Forum. With extensive experience in representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, and general business matters, Robert's background also includes a role as a Commercial Banking Officer at Norwest Bank from 1982 to 1985. Robert holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from the UMN Carlson School of Management, along with a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia College.
