Jeff Kautz

Jeff Kautz, CFA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment management and finance. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Ballast Equity Management, LLC since April 2016, Jeff has leveraged expertise developed during previous leadership roles as CEO, CIO, and Portfolio Manager at Perkins Investment Management, LLC from October 1997 to April 2015. Prior to that, Jeff worked as a Market Maker at GVR and as a Senior Analyst at Andersen Consulting. Jeff holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
