James Ballenger

James Ballenger is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and business management. As President of Ballenger Motorsports since 2006, James has led the design and manufacturing of high-quality performance parts, with a focus on electronic components for various vehicles. In addition to this role, James serves as President of Murray Properties, overseeing property improvement and management in Mechanicsville, VA, and as President of iofast, a division dedicated to electronics design and sales. James has also contributed as a Design Judge in multiple Formula SAE and Formula Student events, showcasing expertise in automotive engineering. Before these positions, James co-founded Powertrain Control Solutions and worked at Electromotive Engine Controls and IT Specialists, gaining a solid foundation in product development and network engineering. James holds a BS and Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
