Ballet Arizona is an innovative and provocative professional ballet company that creates, performs, and teaches outstanding classical and contemporary ballet. Ballet Arizona is under the artistic direction of Ib Andersen, who was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet for over a decade. An administrative team and community Board of Directors provides support services and oversight for the company’s activities, and is assisted by the dedicated efforts of an enthusiastic Volunteer Corps. Ballet Arizona is dedicated to serving the people of central Arizona through Education and Community Outreach programs, which touch the lives of more than 35,000 children each year.
