Vasilis Giannakopoulos

Vasilis Giannakopoulos is an experienced project manager and engineer with a strong background in site management and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Project Manager at BALLIAN TECHNIKI SA since June 2021, Vasilis previously held site management positions at ERGOSTEEL S.A., BBH GmbH, and MICHAEL M. TSONTOS SA, overseeing significant projects such as the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center and Athens US Embassy upgrades. Earlier experience includes roles at TERNA S.A. and GEK TERNA Group of Companies, where Vasilis managed complex construction projects including the German School in Thessaloniki and the New Hall at Casino Loutraki. Vasilis holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, completed in 1987.
