Jake Seid is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Ballistic Ventures, a firm specializing in early stage cybersecurity investments with over $700 million in assets, established in December 2021. Seid has a robust investment portfolio including being an investor in companies like Abnormal Security, Veza, Drata, Talon Cyber Security, Netskope, Offchain Labs, Cresta, Brex, and People.ai, demonstrating a strong focus on security and technology sectors. Seid holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Economics, along with an M.Eng in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
