Roger Thornton is a seasoned professional in the cybersecurity and technology sectors, serving as Co-Founder and General Partner of Ballistic Ventures since December 2021, a firm dedicated solely to funding innovations in cybersecurity. Thornton is also actively involved as an investor and board member for several companies, including Codezero Technologies, WitnessAI, GetReal Labs, and Nudge Security, all focused on enhancing security and innovation in their respective fields. Previously, Thornton held leadership positions such as Managing Member at Area 51 Ventures, VP of Products & Technology at AT&T CyberSecurity following the acquisition of AlienVault, where Roger was the CTO, and served on boards for various tech firms like Comprehensive Finance and Prevoty. Thornton holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from San Jose State University.
