Warren L. Habib has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies.

Starting in 1999, they worked at Solbright as the Vice President and CTO, and later as the Director of Software Development and Product Development Manager. Here, they managed research and development, engineering operations, software development projects, and infrastructure planning. Warren L. also remained hands-on in programming, database design, and operational support.

In 2005, Habib became the CTO of Fotolog.com, where they successfully scaled the global social network and photo blogging site. Under their leadership, the site grew from the 700th largest to the 20th largest on the internet before being sold in 2007.

From 2008 to 2011, they served as Senior Vice President of Digital Platform Development at MTV Networks, overseeing a team of developers responsible for building platform components for 400+ brand websites. Warren L. emphasized the adoption of open-source, low-cost solutions and configurability in the technical strategy.

In 2011, Habib joined XGraph as the CTO, managing technology teams and operations. Warren L. utilized cutting-edge big data technology to develop custom audience segments for online advertisers. The system was hosted entirely on AWS and employed Hadoop, Java, Tomcat, and MySQL.

Warren L. then worked at AddThis as the Senior Vice President of Data Technology from 2011 to 2012. In this role, they managed operations and IT teams, negotiated vendor contracts, and implemented a multi-CDN strategy.

Habib had various consulting roles during this time, including working as a consulting CTO at zurvu, where they advised on technology strategy and hiring, and at Placemeter, where they acted as a technology advisor during platform development. Warren L. also served on the Fundraising Advisory Board at the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

Since 2013, Habib has been involved with Everplans, initially as the CTO and later as the CISO. Here, they were part of the executive management team, developed business strategies, built engineering and product teams, and implemented agile product development processes. Warren L. designed a sophisticated data storage engine with advanced encryption and a flexible sharing scheme.

Warren L. also had a consulting CTO role at Ballooning Nest Eggs, where they assisted in developing an investment gifting platform for parents to grow their kids' wealth.

Throughout their career, Habib has demonstrated expertise in technology leadership, product development, and strategic planning in various industries.

Warren L. Habib completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in German Literature and History at Stanford University from 1981 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Germanic Languages at Columbia University from 1987 to 1990.
