In 2013, they were an Area Supervisor and Manager on Duty + for Ross Stores, Inc. In 2018, they worked as an Organizing Fellow & Direct Actions Lead for Sunrise Movement. From 2016 to 2021, they worked for the Florida Student Power Network as a Legislative Policy Co-lead, Climate & Environmental Justice Coordinator, and Climate Justice Organizing Fellow. In 2021, they worked as a Development Organizer and Volunteer Coordinator for Power Shift Network. Finally, in 2022, they worked as a Researcher for BallotReady.
Elizabeth Gilbert completed their high school diploma at Matanzas High School in 2012, after which they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Biology at the University of West Florida, graduating in 2017.
