Sarah Otts

Sarah Otts has five years of professional experience in the software engineering and computer science fields. In 2022, they began their current role as a Senior Software Engineer (Level I) at BallotReady. From 2020-2022, they worked as a Software Engineer (Full Stack) and Junior Software Engineer at Scratch Foundation. From 2014-2020, they served as a Teaching Assistant - Introduction to Computer Science at the University of Oklahoma's Gallogly College of Engineering. In 2013, they were a Scratch Online Community Developer at the MIT Media Lab, where they contributed to moderation and communication while working with Django, Node.js, React, and MySQL to improve moderation features. Additionally, they worked as a Scratch Online Community Moderator at the MIT Media Lab that same year. In 2013, they also served as a Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma's Gallogly College of Engineering, where they created a Matlab prototype for a project titled "Fingerprint Segmentation and Ridge Enhancement in Camera Images."
