Mark Borg

Mark Borg has a diverse work experience in the field of data management and technology. Mark is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Data at Bally's Corporation. Previously, Mark worked at Gamesys as the Chief Data Officer and later as the Head of Data Engineering. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Data Platform Architect at JackpotJoy Group. Mark also has experience working at Betsson Group, where they held various roles such as Solutions Architect, Platform Product Owner, and Business Intelligence Release Manager. Mark started their career at Ixaris Systems Ltd as a JAVA Developer and later became the Quality Assurance Team Lead.

Mark Borg completed a BSc in Business Information Systems at Middlesex University from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Sun Certified Java Professional certification from Sun Micro Systems in 2008. Their earlier education includes an International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies with a focus on Advanced Programming and Internet Systems from London Metropolitan University, which they completed from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Mark obtained various certifications, including Academy Accreditations in Generative AI Fundamentals from Databricks in 2023, Scala Programming for Data Science - Level 1 from IBM in 2016, Introduction to R from DataCamp in 2015, and Sun Certified JAVA Programmer from Sun in 2008. Mark also holds an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
