Gia Greenwood has worked in various roles in the fashion industry. Gia started their career as a PR Intern at KTZ in December 2015 and worked there until April 2016. In September 2016, they became a Design Assistant Intern at H&M and continued in that role until April 2017. Gia then moved to Balmain in April 2017 as a Print & Embroidery Intern, where they contributed to extensive visual design research and created embroidery technical drawings. In January 2019, they joined Emilio Pucci as a Design Intern until January 2019. Gia returned to Balmain in January 2019, this time as an Embroidery Design Assistant. In April 2021, they were promoted to the role of Embroidery Designer, which they currently hold.
Gia Greenwood completed their education at various institutions. Gia attended Altrincham Girls Grammar School for an unspecified period before graduating. Following that, Gia pursued a Foundation degree in Art/Art Studies, General at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2013 to 2014. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Westminster, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Degree from 2014 to 2018.
