Arūnas Vrubliauskas

Arūnas Vrubliauskas has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Arūnas started their career as a Software Engineer at UAB "Baltec CNC Technologies" in 2006. Arūnas then moved on to Kaunas University of Technology, where they held various roles such as Technician, Assistant, Project Researcher, Technical Project Manager, Lecturer, and Researcher. During this time, they led teams and conducted research and development activities in areas such as smart homes, IoT, ML, AI, video streaming, wireless communications, and more.

In 2016, Vrubliauskas joined Technologijų ir inovacijų centras (TIC), where they worked as a Solution Architect and later became the Head of Solution Architects and Developers Group. In these roles, they led and mentored teams, designed and managed solution engineering, and served as a Scrum Master for Agile development teams.

Most recently, in 2020, Vrubliauskas joined Baltic Amadeus as an Architect. Arūnas later became the Head of Architecture and is currently serving as the Head of Strategy Consulting. In these roles, they are responsible for leading the development of consulting services, ensuring IT and architecture standards are adhered to, and integrating data and solution architecture to ensure consistent terminology and documentation.

Arūnas Vrubliauskas completed their Bachelor of Science in Informatics Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology between 1996 and 2001. Arūnas then pursued a Master of Science in Software Systems Engineering from Aalborg University, which they completed from 2001 to 2003. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in January 2008. Later, in November 2010, they obtained an Information Storage Associate (EMCISA) certification from EMC. Arūnas Vrubliauskas also holds several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Arūnas obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in January 2020 and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification in May 2020. Additionally, they received the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2018 and The Open Group Certified: TOGAF® 9 Foundation certification from The Open Group in February 2020.
