Hans-Christian Olesen

Hans-Christian Olesen is an experienced maritime industry professional currently serving as an Advisor on the Baltic Exchange Index Council and Chairman of the Baltic Exchange European Advisory Council for Dry since October 2017. Olesen has been with Ultrabulk A/S since August 1987, holding various leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer, Executive Vice President, and Senior Chartering Manager. Additionally, Olesen has been a member of the Board of Directors at BIMCO since October 2022. Olesen's educational background includes a degree in International Trade from Copenhagen Business School, completed between 1987 and 1996.
