Justas Gruodis

Justas Gruodis has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Justas is currently the Head of Information Technology Department at BGS (Baltic Ground Services) since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Information Technology at Ermitažas, a DIY retailer, from November 2018 to January 2021. In this role, they managed IT operations for 10 retail stores and the e-commerce channel, including budgeting, implementing and managing outsourced services, and leading the IT team.

Before joining Ermitažas, Justas worked at Northern Horizon Capital for over 11 years. From February 2011 to November 2018, they held the position of IT Manager, responsible for centralized IT services management, IT budgeting, IT support management, and software management and development. Justas also led the ERP NAV migration project across group companies in multiple countries. Earlier in their career at Northern Horizon Capital, from August 2007 to February 2011, they worked as a Group IT Supporter, coordinating outsourced IT services and managing IT operations in various local offices.

Justas Gruodis started their career as an IT Engineer at Lietuvos energija in 2005 and later worked as a 3G Network Engineer at UAB Nelte in 2004.

Justas Gruodis's education history begins with their attendance at VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Informatics. Prior to their university education, Justas attended Vydūno gimnazija from 1992 to 2002, where they completed their Secondary School education with a focus on Secondary School Administration/Principalship.

In addition to their formal education, Justas Gruodis has obtained several certifications. In 2008, they earned the MCP certification from protraining. In 2009, they obtained the MSDST certification, although details of the institution are not provided. Finally, in November 2011, Justas received the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN.
