Bineeta Sihota

Bineeta Sihota, Ph D, GISP, CPM, has extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and project management. Currently serving as GIS Supervisor and Project Manager at the City of Baltimore Department of Transportation (DOT-IT) since September 2015, Bineeta has led numerous significant projects, including the DOT Comprehensive Transportation Plan and the B'More Bright initiative. Prior to this role, Bineeta worked as a GIS Analyst and Database In-charge at the Baltimore City Department of Transportation, and held earlier positions as a GIS Analyst and Technician in both Baltimore County and City of Laurel. Bineeta's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Geography from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, along with advanced certifications in geospatial applications and project management from the Community College of Baltimore County and University of Baltimore, respectively.
