Matthew J. Bowerman

Matthew J. Bowerman is an experienced educator and performer, currently serving as an Educator with Montgomery County Public Schools since June 2015 and as a Theatre/English Special Education Teacher with Baltimore County Public Schools since June 2012. Additionally, Matthew has been active as a freelance writer and performer since 2000, specializing as a screenwriter and playwright, and has worked as an actor, singer, and dancer since 1996. Notably, Matthew was part of the original Baltimore cast of The Awesome 80's Prom, performing at the Hippodrome and continuing off-Broadway. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and a Master of Arts in Theatre Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from Towson University.
