Ciara Cawthorne currently serves as a Case Manager/Regional Navigator at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where responsibilities include creating individualized service plans for human trafficking survivors and promoting client wellbeing through various supportive actions. Ciara also works as a Crisis Intervention Counselor at Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc., managing calls from the National Suicide Lifeline and employing de-escalation skills while developing response plans for callers in crisis. Previous experience includes serving as a Homeless Services Case Manager at St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore, where Ciara developed tailored Individual Service Plans to assist clients in achieving self-sufficiency and housing stability. Earlier roles involved administrative support in the Dietary Department at LifeBridge Health and a Counseling Intern position at ABA Healthcare Inc®, providing therapeutic support to diverse client populations. Ciara holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Developmental and Child Psychology from Trinity Washington University.
